Ingredients
500 g aubergine, 300 g minced meat, 2 red pepper, 1 onion, 2 grated tomatoes, 200 g grated kaşar cheese (or mild cheddar), 2 tbsp sunflower oil, salt, cumin, powdered red pepper, black pepper, red pepper flakes

For the dressing
4-5 cherry tomatoes, 1-2 sprigs fresh basil

Preparation
Wash the aubergines and dry thoroughly after peeling in stripes. Make a deep cut lengthways down the middle. Heat sunflower oil in a pan. Fry the aubergines on all sides and transfer onto a paper towel. Heat some sunflower oil in a seperate pan. Add the minced meat and roast. add the finely chopped onions and peppers and saute until tender. Finally add the tomato, salt and spices. Remove from heat and leave cool. Transfer the aubergines into an oven dish. Por the mixture into the slits. Spinkle with grated kaşar cheese and basil leaves. Add half a cup of hot water and cook in a preheated oven until golden. Serve hot.
